Rihanna announces 2013 "Diamonds World Tour" | North America Dates

Coming off the success of her amazing performance and award winning night at the MTV Video Music Awards, Rihanna and Live Nation has announced her "Diamonds World Tour" beginning in 2013. On March 8 she will open up her tour in Buffalo, NY and go across the country. Final details have not been announced but tickets go on sale September 14th, 2012. For those who want front row seats, you better get your dollars in order fast.

Rihanna has had an amazing year. In 2011 her "LOUD" tour was the 7th highest grossing tour of that year. The "LOUD" tour grossed 90 million and included 10 sold out shows at London's 02 arena. She is currently in the studio working on her 7th studio album and she is also gearing up for the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.

As the recipient of a phenomenal 6 Grammy Awards, Rihanna has sold over 37 million albums and 146 million digital tracks worldwide, and currently holds the record for top-selling digital artist of all time.  In 2012, Forbes crowned Rihanna as the #1 social networking superstar with more than 60 million fans on Facebook and 25 million followers on Twitter in addition to owning over 2.7 billion views on YouTube/VEVO – the most for any female artist.  Rihanna's impressive catalogue of hits includes 11 #1 singles, including "We Found Love" which spent 10 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, 18 #1 singles on the Billboard Dance Club Song Charts, and 22 top 10 singles. 

Azealia Banks "1991" | Music Video Premiere

New comer, Azealia Banks has just dropped her 5th (or 6th video) for her EP by the same name, "1991". Miss Bank$ has been garnering a lot of attention amongst fashionistas and rap fans alike. An electic mix of house, funk and rap this fresh face has been keeping the blogs talking. Azealia has sheer potential to be a hit-maker and as popular as Nicki Minaj. The only thing that might get her in trouble is her very outspoken and confrontational personality. Her debut album should be out by Spring 2013.

She has since signed on as one of the new faces for M.A.C. Cosmetics. During Fashion Night Out she will be debuting her new lipstick called Yung Rapunxel as well as performing at 7:45PM SHARP at their SoHo store.

Check out her new video, "1991". It's a mixture of Madonna and Cyndi Lauper with an old school house and vogue feel. She is definitely doing promo for her new lipstick as well.

Yves Saint Laurent Changes Its Name

Hedi Slimane recently took over as head honcho at Yves Saint Laurent. As the new creative director, Mr. Slimane, has sought to rebrand the legendary fashion house. YSL has been known for its high-end luxury goods for decades. I believe it's a horrible mistake to rebrand and entire organizational logo. The name YSL is legendary in itself. Mr. Slimane wants to renamed the company to simply "Saint Laurent" in order to give the fashion house a fresh coat of paint, but I believe this may cause adverse affects on the companies profits. "SL" does not sound as "polished" as the term "YSL". Details are still developing on what collections will be renamed but the sheer thought of the name change has sent fans into an uproar across social networks.

Ms. Joseline Hernandez from VH1's Love & Hip Hop Atlanta releases her first single titled, "Bailer". It's a reggaton style track that easy on the ears. Make you want to do a little whine or at least move your feet. I definitely think it's a great way to introduce herself to the music game. Unfortunately I have no clue what she is say (usually don't anyway), but whatever it is she sounds hot.

Chris Brown "Fortune" | Album Trailer

R&B singer, Chris Brown, returns to the Billboard charts with his 5th studio album, Fortune. Fortune is the sequel to Brown's successful "Fame" album. Chris Brown may stay in trouble, but he also stays in the studio working on tracks and being featured on collaborations with multiple artist.  Hopefully Chris will gain another No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 album charts. He has been promoting A LOT of music lately and hopefully this album will be a reflection of his hard work and dedication.

Fashion genius, Jeremy Scott, continues his famed collaboration with Adidas. I'm use to outrageous and brilliantly creative designs from Mr. Scott, but I'm not to keen on the idea of wearing shackles. I'm sure his latest creation will raise some eyebrows and cause some controversy. The high-ups at Adidas should have considered the potential backlash, if any. This mid top shoes dawn a purple, orange and silver color way.

Eve Returns To Philly | Reebok x Complex Documentary

Philly native, Eve, returns to her hometown of Philly and talks about her evolution in a new documentary by Reebok for the "Reebok Classics Hip-Hop Legends" Concert series. Eve has grown tremendously throughout her career and even crossed-over into acting. Currently working on her 3rd studio album, Eve has been flying under the radar. Reebok is currently doing some major promotion with new and old hip hop artist. Over the years, Reebok has been trying to figure out new ways to influence "urban" consumers. Their latest footwear and apparel have been very aesthetically pleasing. The reemergence of the Reebok brand will be interesting. I'm looking forward to new products from the company.
